What our customers have to say

AMAZING, UNIQUE, FUN AND INFORMATIVE TOUR
Steve is a natural tour guide. He is informative, fun, and the route he took us to experience the history of New Orleans was by far the highlight of our vacation...

FOR THE CONSISTENT ACHIEVEMENT OF HIGH RATINGS FROM TRAVELERS

This year for my husband’s birthday, I was determined to find something different for us to do in New Orleans! We visit the city often and we find ourselves doing the same things over and over again. My husband loves history and museums, and we are both very deeply rooted in our Catholic faith. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our Saturday than with Mr. Steve going from church to church to learn of the history that has lived in this beautiful city all along. We learned so much, and were both so moved by the beauty of the Churches. Mr. Steve knows his facts, and was so informative. I would book this tour again tomorrow, without a doubt. I look forward to coming back with my kids to show them where the Catholic Church started here in Louisiana and I look forward to letting them learn that from Mr. Steve at Catholic tours of the Crescent City!” - Kelley, TripAdvisor

Excellent! We truly enjoyed this tour. Stephen is very passionate about the Catholic Church History and we loved all the new information we learned. The churches we visited were very beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend this tour to Louisiana natives as well as visitors. - Tammy, FaceBook

Worth it for the taxi service alone to the gorgeous churches, but was much more! … - Sylvia, TripAdvisor

Excellent and well researched overview of New Orleans' Catholic roots in a tour appropriate for all religions…

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Steve was great and had so much knowledge he was willing to share. Each church was so magnificent. When en route to the next church, Steve would point out important sights and give us historical details. He offered us water in case we were thirsty. Steve even dropped us off at our hotel. I recommend this tour! - Ian M, Yelp

This absolutely wonderful, inspiring tour explains the 300 year old Catholic culture of New Orleans.... Steve’s knowledge, faith and love for these churches was evident. He even pointed out items I had missed when I visited some of the same churches. You don’t have to be Catholic or religious to enjoy these beautiful churches. I recommend this reasonable tour to those interested in history, architecture, or cultural treasures."

This was a really good tour, much better than I thought it would be. Steve is very knowledge and really enjoys what he is doing and it shows. Great with answering everyone's questions. I am not Catholic but what I learned was fascinating. Don't be fooled by the name, this tour should be on everyone's list.

"Great way to spend a few hours in New Orleans. Steve was very knowledgeable and informative, beautiful churches, architecture and history. A "must do" on a trip to the city.  Wonderful diversion from the Quarter!" - Randy, TripAdvisor

"This was a wonderful, personalized tour of New Orleans Catholic churches. The guide was knowledgeable and so courteous. Some of the churches rivaled ones I visited in Europe, and this was a historical side of New Orleans that most do not see. The tour was well worth the cost and time." - Michael, TripAdvisor

"...an unexpected and serene retreat from all the other tourist options. I highly recommend it." - Jenny, TripAdvisor

"Steve provides an interesting and insightful visit to New Orleans through the loving eyes of the Catholic Church...The depth of explanation provides lasting meaning to the images we may have encountered so often but then just passed by without thought.   - Brian, TripAdvisor

Steve is a natural tour guide. He is informative, fun, and the route he took us to experience the history of New Orleans was by far the highlight of our vacation. Steve does an amazing job of guiding you through time using Catholicism as a lense to anchor you through each time period of New Orleans' existence. Every Church, grave, and street visited was accompanied by interesting details that generated engaging conversation the rest of the day, long after the tour ended. If you only have time to do one tour, this is the tour to do! Steve's 3 hour morning tour takes you all around the city in a very comfortable touring van. I give him and his company my highest recommendation for a good time. If you want to see New Orleans in the context of its storied past with an intimate look and explanation of New Orleans' most beautiful architecture, this tour is for you. You need not be Catholic to find the experience Steve has curated as anything short of incredible.
